IN THE DUGOUT WITH SENIOR STACEY ANDREWS:

Question: What is your favorite thing about the sport of softball?
Answer: I would have to say interacting with different people and meeting most of my best friends from softball is my favorite thing.  Also the competitiveness of the sport drives me to want more and more.  I guess because I am so competitive myself.

Q: What would you be doing if you did not play softball?

A: I would probably be playing slow pitch softball for fun and coaching kids.  Also working out to stay in shape.

Q: What has been the best part of being a collegiate-athlete?

A: I would most definitely first say meeting the girls on the team and making such good friendships and memories with them.  Secondly I would say just getting this opportunity to be here is awesome because some people would never get this opportunity in life.  Just being able to say that I played college softball for ECU is good for me.
 
Q: One word that describes you on the field?
A: Confident


Q: One word that describes you off the field?
A: Energetic

Q: What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?
A: Wakeboarding, Surfing, Skiing, Slow pitch softball
 

Q: What is the best advice you would give an incoming freshman?
A:  Take in as much as you can and learn from everything you do.  Give a 100% and it will pay off.

Q: Who has been your most influential role model(s) and why?

A: Well I would say I have a few of them. But first my parents because they have been behind me in everything I have done.  They have taught me to love what I do and my Mom has definitely put the competitiveness in me and the drive to be successful in anything I do.  With out them I would never be here.  Secondly this might sound corny but Coach Kee has taught me so much about the sport and the game that I would never think of.  The knowledge that one could have in such a sports sometimes blows my mind.  It’s the little things about the game that I see from her and take in has influenced me to want to become a Coach like I have always wanted.


Q: Who is your favorite professional sports team?
A: Umm I have always been a Braves fan…


Q: Who is your favorite singer/musical group?
A: Well rap would be lil wayne, rock bullet for my valentine.
 
Q: What is the best book that you have ever read?
A: Never really read a whole book before…

Q: Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
A:  Well some might know, but my crazy self is afraid of roller coaster’s.
 
Q: Who is the person you would trade places with for a day if able to do so?
A: HaHa Jennie Finch


Q: What is your favorite quote/saying?
A: live, laugh, and love

Q: What has been your proudest moment?
A: getting the opportunity to play softball at ECU


Q: What are you planning to do once you graduate?
A: become a PE teacher and coach.

Q: What is your favorite memory of East Carolina University?
A: DEFINITELY New York walking back home in the snow and pushing a lady over the median because she was stuck hahahahahaha!!!!!
