to everyone for finding the time to check in on ECU softball. The 2010 season was a great one and the 2011
season with all the new faces and the new stadium should be fun. For those looking for a special gift for the
softball fans in your family, season tickets should be on sale this week. The
first home game is February 16th.

Welcome
to the newest Graduate Assistant Coach, Cristen Aona.
Softball
ended fall conditioning with the annual Pirate Clash, a unique team competition
between the Skulls and the Sabers. This year the golden bat once again went to

Members
of the softball team once again found time to volunteer for and race in The
Reindeer Dash for Cash. This effort in the community came after a very
successful food drive for the Food Bank of Eastern North Carolina. Go here for

The softball
team also volunteered their time to help with the KICK
CHILDHOOD CANCER: Riley's Army March at ECU soccer in October.
Student
athletes are spending this week finishing up exams before the holiday
break. Good luck to all. ECU will begin the next semester January 7.

Stadium Update: Yes,
the NEW SOFTBALL STADIUM is complete. AARRGGHH!!
Construction began October 19, 2009 and the
first of many games was played on October
30th as the softball team finished up fall ball.
