NEWSLETTER 5, March 6, 2008
On behalf of the PIRATE NATION, I would like
to thank all of the parents, grandparents, and family members that have come
from all over the country to cheer on the Pirates.
After meeting so many of you, I understand why
these young ladies who put on the Purple and Gold are the model student
athletes that they are. We are proud to
have you and your Pirate softballer as part of our Pirate Nation.
Remember, once a
Pirate, always a Pirate.
And thank you to ECU for providing GAMETRACKER
at the home games for the families and fans who can not be at the games.

Supper with
Softball was a great success. Over 100 guests shared an evening with the softball team.
The kids were in groups with the players and each group had to do a cheer
before we had supper. I couldn't tell if the softball team or the kids
had more fun!!!! Any way it was a great evening. It definitely will be on
the calendar for next year. Check out the slide show and the YOUTUBE
video found on www.blackbeardsballers.com
to see what you missed.
