Stadium Update: Yes,
the NEW SOFTBALL STADIUM is on its way! AARRGGHH!!
ECU Board of Trustees unveiled
plans for new facilities including SOFTBALL. Link to WNCT-TV Video.
Terry Holland shared these conceptual
drawings with us at the Pirate Club REP meeting on February 8, 2009.
If
all goes well, the 2010 softball season will begin with a new state of the art
softball complex. As I hear more, I will
post updates and pictures.

ECU softball comes away with 3 wins
and 1 loss as they complete their first weekend of the season taking 2 games over
Middle Tenn. and splitting with UVA.

national recognition as it received votes in both preseason polls.

UPCOMING EVENTS AND
SCHEDULE:
February 27- March 1 is the Pirate Classic.
It is also the Keith LeClair Classic for baseball which means parking is
not allowed between fields without a permit.
So your best bet will be to park across the street.
This
will also be the case March
10-11 for the Pirate Clash.
February 28, that Saturday, weather permitting, the parents will be having
a pig picking near the bullpen. Everyone
is invited to come by after the 2:00 game.
Men’s basketball plays UAB that evening
at 7.
March 7 the
Pirates open conference play with Houston @ home.
